The Parisians really do know how to make everything look desirable. Even nappies.

Over the past couple of months, Ripley’s ‘nappy wardrobe’ has consisted of watermelons, penguins and whale prints courtesy of Joone Paris.  I never thought I’d use the words chic and stylish to describe a nappy but that’s exactly what Joone are offering.

Of course, this wasn’t my main criteria when researching ethical nappies (but it’s definitely an advantage for sure).

I wanted something non-toxic and chemical free that would do the job it was supposed to do rather than ending up in a sh*t show and outfit change.

Just to backtrack...Before Ripley was born. I’d made the decision to use eco-friendly nappies and bought approx 5 brands to test out. Sadly I had to say aur voir to those since they regularly leaked and caused rashes which kinda defeated the point of them..

…so, I’m not going to lie, I did revert to the supermarket brands for a while because they mostly perform well and made things more convenient.  However, I didn’t feel comfortable knowing that each one we consumed would sit in a landfill for 500 years. I would also prefer to use something with the least amount of chemicals on Ripley’s skin.

Luckily, I spotted new company Joone’s playful prints on Instagram and couldn’t resist giving them a shot.

Not only do they look super cute but they also perform really well. The materials are of high-quality, super soft and comfortable.

They’ve lasted through the night and we’ve had zero leaks.
Manufactured in France, Joone strives to be as ethical as possible and their nappies do not include chlorine or latex, lotion or perfume, phthalates, endochrine disruptors, parabens, organotins or any kind of pesticide.  The super absorbent core is crafted from a chlorine-free pulp from FSC certified trees.
FYI Joone are currently offering 20% off on their 4 month subscription wit the code JOONELOVESUK20 xx
