The Recyclable Moses Basket

My sister says it looks like a giant Croc.
My mum thought it was a stylish laundry carrier.

I'm talking about Ripley's moses basket.

I love a traditional wicker moses basket but they tend to be on the creaky side which can subsequently wake babies up...no thanks.  I decided to look for an alternative and discovered a new British brand called Moba who make contemporary baskets created from recycled plastic. They come in fun fluro shades including hot pink and bright orange.  I'm a bore and opted for Dove Grey.
Approved by midwives, the brand works in partnership with The Lullaby Trust, the UK's leading charity in SIDS research and awareness...

Below are some of the benefits:
  • Super portable, lightweight and durable -  I move it around the house throughout the day with zero effort
  • Wipe clean - the bespoke plastic is anti-microbial & hypo-allergenic
  • Fully ventilated - over 300 perforated holes around the sides and base maximize air circulation
  • It comes with a super soft mattress and 100% cotton waffle liner which is very easy to remove for washing
  • Oh yeah, it 100% doesn't creak

I love that the Moba basket is 100% recyclable. Not that I have any plans to ditch it once Ripley gets too big.  We'll use it for toy storage (or maybe as a laundry basket!) until baby #2 comes along.
