If it's good enough for Princess Charlotte....Whisbear
Following this weeks announcement that The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge are expecting their third baby, I thought it would be an appropriate time to talk about Princess Charlotte's favourite toy.
It's a modern looking, octopus-teddy hybrid called Whisbear (short for Whispering Bear) which emits a consistent hairdryer sound for 40 minutes to help baby settle. Yep, this white noise apparently soothes babies - and now I have a valid excuse to get my hair done every week.
It also offers a standby CRYsensor mode that automatically turns the bear back on for a further 20 minutes if baby starts to stir.
Designed and manufactured in Europe, Whisbear has magnets concealed in it's bright, crinkly textured paws offering the flexibility to attach it to a pram, changing bag or crib 'koala style'.
So, back to The Royal Family...the brand sent Princess Charlotte a Whisbear a couple of years ago and Kate and William were so impressed by the product that they made sure they met with the founders on a recent trip to Poland.
Baby isn't here yet so I haven't had a chance to test the product out properly for myself but if it has the royal seal of approval (and several awards under its belt), I'm already feeling confident.
